Crane Hook — Crane hook is a specialized part of the crane, which used to lift and move large things from one place (area) to another area. It is quite significant, as it ensures that workers can perform their duties in a safe and efficient manner. Crane hooks are indispensable when it comes to the safe and secure transportation of heavy loads.

It comprises many elements of the crane hook. The hook is one of these parts, and the grab that holds on to stuff. Shank: another critical piece where the hook is placed. The crane uses a hook block to connect the hook. That said, and without doubt for me the subject of Rope access is much different…. but we will leave that embattled practise alone in this article (for now)…… The Hoist Hook Block itself which connects to …..the hoist rope. The hook block moves either up or down as the rope is pulled. This function permits the hook to be picked up as well lower heavy loads. When the load is where it should be, and its safe to move it around bottom hook can locked in to stay put.

Different types of crane hooks and their uses.

Sliding Hooks: These hooks are meant for the load to be slid along the shank. This is helpful for fine-tuning the position of the load as it lifted. They are especially handy with materials that have to be hoisted up and far away from the original placement spot.

Grapple Hooks – These hooks have a 2 way jaw which can able to open and close. They are great to work with loose materials such as log, sand or gravel. The jaws securely grip the objects in order to pick them up.
